Will your gaming setup fit?

A gaming desk has to hold your real equipment, not just look good in a room preview. Use this guide to compare your setup with the YGamerDesk tabletop: 47.24 inches wide × 23.64 inches deep.

TRY YOUR OWN MEASUREMENTS

Will your gear fit?

Measure the stand footprints, not the diagonal screen sizes. For two stands, use the full width and deepest point of their combined area.

This planner places the monitor stands behind the keyboard and mouse area. It does not check monitor overhang, chair clearance, cables or mounting compatibility.

These areas fit in this arrangement.

17.2 in of total spare width; 3.6 in between the front and rear areas. Leave the clearance your equipment requires.

How big is a 47-inch gaming desk?

The YGamerDesk’s listed tabletop is 47.24 × 23.64 inches, approximately 120 × 60 cm. It is a compact desktop. The usable arrangement depends on your monitor bases, keyboard, mouse movement and any other equipment you put on it.

Mark those dimensions on your current desk with removable tape, or draw them on paper at a consistent scale. Place paper shapes for your equipment inside the outline. Measure the front-to-back depth as carefully as the width: a large monitor stand can take space you expected to use for your hands.

Can it hold two monitors?

Screen diagonal alone cannot answer that. Two monitors with narrow bases may fit differently from one monitor on a deep V-shaped stand. Measure the total width of both stands in their intended positions, their deepest footprint, and the screen edges that extend past them.

The planner compares the stand area with your keyboard and mouse area. It does not check the screen overhang or tell you whether a monitor arm can mount safely. Confirm an arm’s clamp opening, load, edge requirements and the desk’s final finished thickness with YForge before purchasing it. Do not assume the tabletop is suitable for a particular mount.

Leave room for the mouse movement you use

A keyboard footprint is only part of the front area. Include your mouse pad and the space you use while playing. A wide desk mat may cover the central artwork; that does not mean the desk is wrong for you, but it changes where a meaningful face, name or landmark should go.

Try moving the artwork’s focal point into a front corner or a visible side area. Keep the important details inside the desk edge. A wider landscape can continue around your equipment without needing every part of the picture to remain visible.

Plan the room around a standing frame

The black electric frame has a supplier-listed height range of 28.3 to 46.5 inches. Check your seated position and the space above the desk. Leave enough cable length for movement and inspect anything behind or underneath that could catch as the frame moves.

Check the chair path, drawers, shelves, wall outlets and the route the disassembled desk will take into the room. These are separate measurements from the tabletop layout. A compact desk should make the room easier to use, not leave you squeezing around it.

Choose the desk and artwork together

Once your equipment fits, compare a collection design with a custom tabletop. The collection gives you a selected design to order. The custom studio lets you upload your own artwork, move it, change its scale and check the complete desk preview.

Keep your original image for production review. The editor is a placement tool; final file quality, printed colors and the physical finish need written approval before production. For practical next steps, read how a custom YGamerDesk works and the artwork and room-color guide.

Quick measurement questions

Does the planner guarantee my equipment will fit?

No. It compares two rectangular footprints in one arrangement. It does not account for curved bases, cables, speakers, monitor overhang, accessory clamps or physical tolerances. Measure the actual items and confirm any tight clearances before ordering.

Is the 23.64-inch depth all available for a mouse pad?

Only if nothing else needs that same space. A monitor base behind the pad uses part of the depth. Add the depth of the rear and front areas, then allow the clearance your equipment needs.

Will YForge confirm unusual accessories?

Send the accessory’s dimensions and mounting requirements to yforgegaming@gmail.com. Get confirmation before ordering an arm, clamp or other attachment that depends on the finished tabletop.
