THE SETUP WORKSHOP
How to plan your anime-inspired gaming desk.
A good custom desk design still works when your monitors, keyboard, and mouse are on it. Start with the way you use your setup, then choose the artwork.
1. Mark the space your equipment covers
Sketch a rectangle using the desktop dimensions and draw your keyboard, mouse pad, monitor stands, and speakers inside it. Keep faces, names, and the main illustration out of those covered areas. A large design can look best near a front corner or along the visible side of your setup.
2. Pick one visual direction
For a retro gaming room, try purple and gray with simple pixel shapes. For an anime-inspired adventure, try ocean blues and warm sunset colors. For a dark streaming setup, reserve bright accents for the edges so the surface does not compete with the rest of the room. Use your own or authorized artwork.
3. Prepare the artwork for review
Keep the highest-resolution original file you have. Avoid screenshots with interface buttons or compressed social-media previews. Tell us which parts must remain visible and whether cropping is acceptable. A preview helps choose placement, but the final design needs your approval before production.
4. Make a gamer gift personal
A player name, original character, favorite colors, or a meaningful date can make the gift personal without guessing which franchise artwork the recipient wants. If it is a surprise, confirm the room size and delivery arrangements first. See our anime and gamer gift guide for more ideas.
5. Send a useful design brief
Include the room colors, your equipment layout, the artwork source, the name or text you want, and your delivery ZIP code. Tell us about access restrictions. Your invoice will confirm the desk price, shipping, and applicable tax before payment.
