How to customize your YGamerDesk: a visual, step-by-step guide

You do not need design experience to make your tabletop personal. Follow the circled controls below, then use this checklist to move from an idea to a desk preview. You can skip the studio tutorial and reopen it with How it works.

1. Choose the picture you want

Open the desk studio from the store. Replace tabletop opens the collection; Change picture lets you upload your own JPG, PNG or WebP. The upload limit is 20 MB. Your uploaded picture opens in the editor, selected and ready to move.

Start with the original image, not a screenshot or a social-media thumbnail. Keep a separate copy of that original for production approval. Use artwork you own or have permission to reproduce; uploading a picture does not create a commercial-use license.

2. Position it without guessing

Drag the center of the selected picture to move it. Drag a corner to change its size. Center returns it to the middle. Fit picture shows the whole image within the desk area; Fill desk covers the area and may push some of the picture beyond the borders.

The size readout shows the selected design in inches. Compare that with the 47.24 × 23.64-inch tabletop. The scale grid helps estimate placement, but the image on your phone is not life-size. The dashed outline marks the desk edge; the outer outline includes extra wallpaper for trimming or wrapping.

  • Keep faces, names and important details away from the desk edge.
  • Imagine where your keyboard, monitor stand and mouse pad will sit.
  • Use Size · inches for numeric dimensions, keeping proportions locked when you do not want distortion.

3. Adjust colors and check detail

Colors opens hue, vibrancy, brightness and contrast for the selected picture. It also includes brush/shape color and the tabletop background. Original colors resets the picture adjustments. When using Brush, choose ink and thickness above the canvas.

The quality indicator estimates pixels per inch at the selected picture’s current size. A low-resolution image will not gain real detail simply by being exported at a higher resolution. Use a larger original or reduce its printed size. The 100 and 150 PPI PNG options redraw text, shapes and brush paths at the export size; the printer’s final requirements still need confirmation.

4. Preview, then add to cart

Choose Save & preview to check the full desk. Return to editing if the placement is not right. When you are satisfied, choose Add to cart; when editing an existing cart item, use Save changes.

Review the selected desk, quantity and upgrades before checkout. Your preview is a design reference, not a promise that every screen color will exactly match printed artwork under epoxy. Keep your original files and confirm the final production layout.
